Structure of online media services

This dataset provides a comprehensive overview of the number and structure of Swiss online media services. The online media services are analysed and classified based on various characteristics and their usage. The data collection is carried out in two parts: Firstly, the dataset includes desk research data, which encompasses analyses of the annual reports of media companies, the websites and social media channels of online media, as well as the collection of suitable reach figures and channel-specific metrics. Secondly, the dataset contains survey data from a short survey with 100 non-representative, anonymised responses that offer insights into the self-assessment of the (online) media industry.
