Der Kanton Zürich hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, eine attraktive Veloinfrastruktur bereit zu stellen. Dabei spielt die Verfügbarkeit von genügend zweckmässigen öffentlichen Velo-parkierungsanlagen an den wichtigsten ÖV-Haltestellen eine bedeutende Rolle. 2011 wurde eine umfangreiche Erhebung von öffentlich zugänglichen Veloparkierungs-anlagen im Kanton Zürich durchgeführt. 2015 und 2019 wurden Erhebungen der Velo-parkierungsanlagen an ÖV-Haltestellen mit mehr als 500 Quelleinsteigern (gemäss kan-tonalem Gesamtverkehrsmodell GVM) durchgeführt (ohne Anlagen der Stadt Zürich). Die Standortdaten zu diesen drei Erhebungen finden sich über diesen WMS.
