This dataset includes the FORTRAN code of the FSM2trans model version used in the paper: Quéno et al., Snow redistribution in an intermediate-complexity snow hydrology modelling framework, The Cryosphere, 2024.
The FSM2trans code is derived from the FSM2 model (Essery et al., 2015) and its variant FSM2oshd (Mott et al., 2023). In this model, we implemented and adapted the snowdrift model SnowTran-3D (Liston et al., 2007) and the avalanching model SnowSlide (Bernhardt and Schulz, 2010).
This dataset does not include the processing scripts to prepare meteorological input data for the model, provided as bin files.
