Culture and Territory (LCV, SUPSI)

“Culture and Territory” is a research area of the Laboratory of visual culture, Department for Environment Constructions and Design (DACD) at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). "Culture and Territory" is actively involved in applied research, open science and in supporting institutions in releasing open data. In particular, it addresses the needs of cultural institutions and public administration of Canton Ticino, documenting contemporary cultural productions, enhancing accessibility, facilitating the publication of open content and datasets, and developing open practices and collaborations with online communities and online collaborative projects such as Wikipedia, the Wikimedia projects and OpenStreetMap. read more
