Alle Waldflächen im Kanton Aargau sind einem Forstrevier angeschlossen. Ein Forstrevier kann sich über mehrere Gemeinden erstrecken und wird durch einen Revierförster vertreten. Forstreviere erstrecken sich nie über die Kantonsgrenze hinaus.
