Hourly Environmental Data from Mobile Sensors (Swiss Post Collaboration)

This dataset was created through a collaboration between Sparrow Analytics SA and Swiss Post, as part of a mobile environmental monitoring project carried out in the cities of Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, Basel, and Bern. Mobile sensor nodes developed by Sparrow were mounted on Swiss Post delivery vehicles to collect high-resolution hourly measurements.

Each data point is delivered as a GeoJSON feature, with spatial coverage defined by a bounding box polygon (WGS 84 / EPSG:4326), representing the exact area where the measurement was captured.

Each record contains:

• Timestamp (UTC)
• ZIP Code
• Geometry: rectangular area polygon
• Sensor type and environmental values

Measurement files:

• gas.geojson: CO2 (ppm), NO2, CO, O3 (ppb)
• pm.geojson: PM1, PM2.5, PM10 (µg/m³)
• temp_and_humid.geojson: Temperature (°C), Humidity (%)
• pressure.geojson: Atmospheric Pressure (hPa)

These datasets support urban health studies, public environment dashboards, AI-based pollution modeling, and scientific research on air quality and microclimates.
